A new 42,000 SF retail center is being
developed on the west bound side of Route 10 in Livingston, New
Jersey. The site, which is now used for light industrial and
warehouse space is well into the approval process. A spring
2009 construction start is projected.
Current plans for the center are for a
30,000 SF anchor store with 12,000 SF of smaller shop
space. Area retail includes Pathmark, Circuit City, Best Buy,
Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Toys R Us, and Staples.
Route 10 is the key highway commercial
road serving affluent suburban Essex County, New
Jersey. The Average Daily Traffic Count exceeds 35,000
vehicles.Within 5 miles,
there is a population of 70,000 with an average household income
of $151,000 and a median household income of $99,000.
