Perlmutter Properties Inc., was formed by David S. Perlmutter
in 1989, as a New York licensed real estate brokerage.
Perlmutter Properties Inc. specializes in retail shopping center leasing and
consulting. The company maintains its office
in Westchester County, enabling it to serve its clients in New York, New Jersey and
Connecticut. Perlmutter Properties has
concluded deals with many tenants including Super Stop & Shop, Pathmark, Grand Union,
Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Regal Cinemas, Marshalls, Staples, Old Navy, Dress Barn,
Party City, and Odd Job Trading Company. Perlmutter
Properties developer/owner clients have included Starrett Corporation, Tishman
Speyer Properties, Atkins Development Company, Arwin Urban Renewal Corp., Rosenberg
Housing Group, Chester Housing Authority, and Delphi Commercial Properties. Perlmutter Properties Inc. is a member of the
International Council of Shopping Centers.
In conjunction with Kenneth Narva and Matthew Kroin of
StreetWorks/ PEG/Park LLC, a leading architectural firm, and Howard Menaker, Mr.
Perlmutter formed DKH Inc. to develop and rehabilitate shopping centers. Since 1990, DKH has completed over 1,200,000
square feet of retail space. Projects include
Ridgeway Shopping Center, Stamford, Connecticut; Ferry Plaza, Newark, New Jersey; The
Village at Livingston, New Jersey; New Roc City, New Rochelle, New York; and Watchung
Commons, Watchung, New Jersey and Palisades Court, Englewood, New Jersey.
More recently, Perlmutter Properties joined in an association
with G.E. Grace & Company, Inc. and Seeman Real Estate to form Resolution Realty
Network, Inc. to assist companies to reposition and optimize the value of their distressed
real estate assets.
David S. Perlmutter, 45 years old, is a graduate of Brown University
in Providence, Rhode Island where he earned his B.A. in economics and comparative
literature. Mr. Perlmutter is married, with
four children, and lives in Chappaqua, New York. Mr.
Perlmutter is Regional Commissioner Emeritus of Chappaqya AYSO in addition to coaching, is
vice-chairman of Franklin Furnace Archives Inc. and is an active alum of The Pingry School
and Brown University.
